JB's Bio
JB Cloud, a native Texan, was born in Taylor, Texas, JB grew up around the Austin area. JB
moved to Pflugerville in the 4th grade where he graduated. JB started his
broadcasting career in 1994 at KOUL in Corpus Christi, Texas. Before
coming to KBCY, JB spent 3 years in Big Spring, working for KBST and
going to college.
He always lends a helping hand to the community. JB is a board member
for the Taylor-Jones Humane Society, Whitetails Unlimited and
the World's Largest Chili Pot. JB also received several Humanitarian
awards from the Salvation army.
He enjoys listening to country music, and his favorites are George
Strait, Tracy Lawrence, Gary Allan, Jackson Taylor, Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers,
Tommy Alverson and lots of other Texas Music
His hobbies include hunting and
fishing, listening to Texas Music and collecting key chains. He is fan of Jeff Gordon,
Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and the Texas Longhorns fan. JB DOES NOT LIKE BATS!!!
He is a former 4-H and FFA member, and even had the Reserve Grand Champion Hog
at the 1987 Austin-Travis County Livestock Show and Rodeo.
JB became a Master Mason of Abilene Lodge 559 on June 9, 2005. JB
became a Shriner in June of 2006. And, JB became a Sir Knight and
finished his York Rite masonry on July 31, 2006, to become a Knights
Templar. In the Summer of 2006, JB began
training to become a Shriner Clown. "All of these organizations and groups have helped me
become a better husband, father and person. I love to help others,
especially children.
